Sending mass email is a great way to reach out to your audience and get their attention. But there are so many steps involved in how it works, it can be hard to make sure everything is done right. Here's an ultimate guide to sending mass email!

What Is An Email Blast?

An email blast is the act of sending out a mass email to multiple recipients. It can be used to announce a new product, share a link to your newest blog post, or send notifications about certain events that are going on in your business.

A successful email blast will be effective in building brand awareness and drive traffic to your website. However, it is important to note that this type of marketing strategy will only be effective if done correctly.

With so many emails being sent every day, it becomes increasingly difficult to stand out in the crowd. As a result, you see upwards of 90% of your message getting lost in the noise. This is where email blast campaigns step in and focus on the key points to send.

The logic behind a mail blast is simple: build up an audience of people and then send them a message with a purpose. In essence, you can use email blast campaigns as an effective way to encourage them to buy something and also get their attention.

Because so many people are bombarding you with emails and you have to manage your inbox, an email blast campaign can be a great way to stand out as individuals. The main reason you want to use an email blast campaign is for efficiency and to save money.

You should also use it if you want to save on postage costs as well as building your audience who will be at the top of your list when it’s time to promote your product or service. Generally, you should use email blast campaigns to:

  • Promote a service or product.
  • Motivate people to buy something (once you get them to your desired page or website)3. Offer something free or discount
  • Announce a special eventWhen you’re looking to promote a service or product, your email blast campaign should be used to advertise the product.
  • It should also include a call-to-action (CTA ) to get people to sign up for your newsletter, website or contact you in some other way. As long as you’re asking for their contact information, this action is considered a form of marketing.

Limitations For Sending Mass Emails

There are many limitations when it comes to sending mass emails. For example, email servers often have a limit of 500 or 1000 emails in a single day. Furthermore, you cannot send all emails at once. Your limit is usually 5,000-10,000 per day.

Another limitation is that sending bulk emails may be restricted by your IP address and if so, you'll need to wait for the restriction to expire before you can send more messages. The limitations for sending mass emails are different depending on your business.

Some email service providers may charge you hourly rates as high as $75+/hr, which is more than what most people would be willing to pay.  In order to send bulk emails, you can use services such as SendGrid or Mandrill

These services let you send mass emails from their servers, with no limits and no setup fee. Not all email providers allow you to send bulk emails, so it's best to check first.

Bulk emails are particularly useful when you're sending email to a lot of people at once, and your subscription plans only allow for a certain amount of emails per month.

Sending bulk emails can be quite a hassle, since you have to install a new service and configure it correctly for your business. A less technical solution for sending bulk emails is to use an app like Mailbox.

It's incredibly easy to set up, and you can even send a welcome email to your subscribers when they sign up. You can also edit the template emails, which is a major time saver.

Mailbox gives you a lot of control over the subject line and content, as well, so you can customize your emails however you like.

How To Send Mass Email?

Sending mass emails is the most effective way to promote a product or an event online. Many people think that this method will only work for e-commerce sites, but in reality, it can be used for any type of business.

You just have to know what your audience wants and how to customize your email marketing campaign accordingly. So, how do you send a mass email?

Step 1: Create an account with an email marketing service provider- The most popular Email Marketing Service Providers are AWeber, MailChimp and Constant Contact.

Step 2: Set Up an automation- This is the most important step. Make sure that the automation settings will allow you to create a mass email campaign. You can set up an advanced rule that automatically pulls contact data from your website. You will be able to send an email with the subject line that you want, which will be personalized for each recipient.

You can use a very simple email template that you already have or create a new one. Make sure to include all the recipients in your email marketing campaign. You can also use the description field to add a personal note to the recipients.

Step 3: Set up your email automation rule- All you need to do here is create a rule for a specific recipient. From the dropdown menu, select Send a mass email. You will be asked to enter a name of your choice.

Then, after entering your email address and the recipient name, you will have the option to select a template, add an image and set up a message template.

You can also select the recipient's email address from the list to uncheck it directly from the list. Finally, you will have an option to add a message to the recipient.

Step 4: Add recipients- To do so, click the + icon to add a recipient and then enter an email address to receive emails from this person . You can also add multiple recipients to a rule.

From the dropdown menu, select Recipients, and then enter an email address for each person to be sent the same email. To edit or delete recipients, you can use the checkboxes next to each recipient.

If a rule is defined with multiple recipients, then the rule will be sent to all recipients. You can also use the + icon to add a different email address for each recipient . If you need to add more recipients, click the New Recipient button.
