Tasks & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Answer complex questions and provide complex problem solutions. Gather data to be used in forecasting sales impact (sales opportunities) for existing or proposed products.

Research account needs; create customized sales presentations that outline product benefits; answer customer questions about products or services; direct Sales Specialists during sales calls. Prepare reports on sales activities, including expense forecasts and projections.

  • Track customer satisfaction levels, average revenue per buyer (ARPU), attrition rate by the customer, and other sales metrics.
  • Identify sales opportunities by monitoring industry trends and developments in the market or region.

  4. You will also need to be good with people (it's useful for when pitching ideas), intelligent (for the technical stuff), and rational (so you can look at figures sensibly). Some of these things may come naturally but others may not, so don't worry too much if you feel that any of them are lacking; you can work on it!
