Pipedrive, on the other hand, focuses more on creating an automated customer relationship management system for businesses that are looking for a simple user interface combined with powerful features such as contact lists and tasks creation. Whether you choose Salesforce or Pipedrive depends heavily on your current situation in terms of customer relationship management system integration. If you are just starting out as a new freelance software designer/ developer, you might want to start with Pipedrive and build your own custom solutions on top of that. If you are a bigger company, for example, if one of your departments is looking for an ERP or CRM solution, then Salesforce would be the best fit due to its huge selection and the number of integrations available at the onset.

If all you need is a simple customer relationship management system that will allow you to manage several clients in one place while still maintaining complete control over their information (email marketing campaigns etc.), then Pipedrive is the way to go. It has very well designed pricing plans which allow you to try it out for free in a couple of days, evaluate its features and then decide if it is worth paying for or not – all without any commitment whatsoever!

The main difference between Pipedrive's different packages lies in their prices: For example, there are two "freemium" plans called Starter Plan and Professional Plan; while the latter starts at $200 per month (then goes up from there) with some additional fees depending on your usage amount. The other big price difference comes when you need more advanced features such as Merchant Integration or Custom Reports.

Salesforce's pricing is more complicated and can get quite expensive when it comes down to some advanced features, so make sure that you look at their packages carefully! However, if all your needs revolve around creating leads (to be directed further on), managing existing clients and sending emails, then Pipedrive might be a better option – simply because it offers much less complex pricing options which don't have any hidden fees in them! The only thing which might come as a bit of an issue is the fact that your data will be hosted in their servers. So if things go wrong (which they sometimes do), then it can cause some trouble when trying to contact them – but these issues are usually solved very quickly, so I still believe this shouldn't be too much of an issue for most people.

The choice between Salesforce and Pipedrive isn't an easy one – they both offer some really cool features that are sure to help your business in the long run.

However, I do think that if you're just starting out or haven't been using a CRM for very long (some 2-3 years), then it's best to go with something much simpler like Pipedrive since its setup is so simple! Even though there might seem like no difference at first glance, once you start working with them for a few months and get used to their functions, we have seen significant differences which show just how much CRM's have progressed in the last few years.

So if you're still on the fence about which one to choose, then I really recommend doing some research and seeing what others are saying as well – with many people praising Salesforce as being easier to use than Pipedrive! But it also depends very much on your organization, so make sure that you take all of this into account before making a decision.


Pipedrive Vs Salesforce: Why should you choose one over the other?

When it comes to choosing between Salesforce or Pipedrive, the differences are, of course, going to be very specific. Looking at their features is one thing, but there are also a lot of personal preferences that play into these kinds of decisions, so I'll go through some things you should think about before making your final decision:

  1. Use - Each CRM has different features and functionalities that are able to accommodate businesses of different sizes. If you're on a tight budget, then Pipedrive is likely the best option as it's free for up to 500 users in most cases, which makes things much simpler due to its very basic functionality, but if you need more people using Salesforce or have many teams all using them at once (or even just one large team) then this might be something that will weigh into your decision too!
  2. Integration - One of the biggest differences between Salesforce and Pipedrive is how easy it is to integrate with other tools. Salesforce offers integration options for literally any API you could think of, which makes it extremely useful in so many cases (and if your industry involves working with major vendors on a regular basis, then this can be crucial). Being able to seamlessly connect all these different pieces together really saves you time when setting up new things or adding more functionality without having to worry about installing additional software or creating multiple workflows as well!
  3. Price - The price that Pipedrive charges for their software is pretty aggressive, and if you're on a tight budget, this might be an issue for you. The base plan with unlimited users comes out to $99/month, but that's not the only thing they offer either. There are also extra plans available where paying more doesn't necessarily make things easier on your pocket at all! For example, the Enterprise plan (which allows up to 5,000 users) costs $299 per month, while the Unlimited Premium Plan costs $799 per month!


Which platform is better for your business: Pipedrive vs Salesforce?

To be completely honest, it's not always an easy decision. On the one hand, you have Pipedrive, which offers many of the features that Salesforce does but without all the bloat and extra costs associated with them (which is great for penny-pinching small businesses), while on the other hand, you have Salesforce, which offers a complete service at a much higher price tag!  

There are also some major reasons why both platforms can actually be better depending on what your needs are, especially if:

  • You want to integrate multiple tools together - As mentioned above, Pipedrive integrates with a lot of other tools so you can get the most out of their software and save yourself time once you've installed it. This means that if there are any issues - which is highly unlikely - they will be easier to resolve as everything should work together seamlessly!
  • You want to use third-party integrations (e.g. Zapier, Quickbooks etc.) - When working in conjunction with specific applications/tools, then having access to them through your Salesforce account can make things much simpler for everyone involved when setting up new processes or automation within your company. There's also a whole lot of other third-party integrations available to use, but these are the ones that I've personally had experience with.
  • You want something more than just a CRM - While Pipedrive is definitely geared towards Sales and leads generation, you can also track all your marketing activities through their system, which means they have much more functionality under one roof! It's not an extremely in-depth service as some of their competitors offer (e.g. Hubspot), so it may be too big for smaller companies unless you're looking to start something new or expand into another area entirely where additional features are required.
  • You want a more visual approach to admin - Pipedrive allows you to have much easier access to your data with the ability to build reports, dashboards and see real-time information, which is great for any business owner/CEO that needs something simple but not quite as in-depth as some of their competitors allow (e.g. Freshbooks). With regards specifically towards Salesforce, there's also no need for anyone else if they aren't interested in using it, nor do I think most will be!


Pipedrive Vs Salesforce: Reporting Functionality and Analytics

Analytics is an essential part of any CRM software (although some would argue that's not the case at all!), so it's important to consider things like how easy they are to use and what kind of reporting you have access to. Pipedrive features a number of different reports which can be accessed through their interface, although as with anything here, this depends on whether your account has been upgraded or downgraded, in my opinion!

Basic Report is a very basic report with the most common metrics such as leads and sales.

Advanced Reports are much more in-depth reports that have the additional granularity to them (e.g. by region) but also allow you to drill down into certain areas, which can be useful for larger companies or those who need access to more detailed data, although I personally only use this when I am working on an important project!

I particularly like Pipedrive's ability for me to see how my different campaigns are doing at any time of day/day of the week via their Sales Dashboard. With this feature, I am able to create specific reports with the potential to be shared across my sales team and give me a more in-depth insight into how any campaigns are going for me!


Pipedrive Vs Salesforce: Conclusion

In conclusion, Pipedrive is a great tool for small businesses and startups looking to manage their customers' information, but it's certainly not the best system out there. I would consider this more of an intermediate or advanced service when compared with many of its competitors, who offer much simpler tool sets similar in functionality (e.g. HubSpot). The base package isn't as good as what Pipedrive does on paper, so you will definitely need to upgrade if your company needs something that goes beyond basic lists!
